I was craving waffles, but I wasn't sure if I dared attempt to make them for myself. Thank you, Uriel.

At least we were able to clean up the mess and there was no lasting damage. If you like, I can try making them again for you some time.

On the upside, if you DID manage to make a sink full of soapy water explode, at least it would make cleaning the rest of the kitchen easier.

Thank you. I promise to not dirty all the dishes in the kitchen. [oh look, is that a smirk?]

[attempts to look innocent] I was only offering to make a full breakfast. Pancakes, hash browns, toast, perhaps ham or bacon or maybe even sausage, biscuits and even muffins if you like, sliced fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice... [he continues ticking items off on his fingers]

You can always take any leftovers home with you... if you promise to wash all the dishes.

Would you like blueberry or carrot muffins? Perhaps something sweeter, like chocolate? I could also make banana nut bread if you like.

[at this rate, the turkey baster is the only thing in the kitchen that will be clean once he's done]

[:3] Well, if you spend all day working in the fields, breakfast tends to be the most important meal. And I would be glad to make a little bit of everything for you; you can always freeze the bread and muffins and warm them up later. ...You CAN manage to reheat things without burning down the kitchen, can't you?

(yeah, so that comment about Uriel not being teasing compared to Uri? so much for that.)

[frowns a bit] I suppose I can send you home with a few leftovers, enough to make sure you eat properly for a week or so without the food spoiling. The ham, at least, would make for perfectly good sandwiches even if cold. I swear, Gabriel, I will some day teach you how to cook without property destruction occurring.
