Gabriel

This came in the mail from sunflower_mynah  a couple of weeks ago. It does bear quite a resemblance to this icon of Gabriel's.





Gabriel, of course, is not amused. He does, however, think that the cat is adorable fluffy.

Currently I have two cats, and they are lovely.

Earl Grey was found about a week after I arrived, and I couldn't decide what to name him until about another week later, when Aziraphael came over for tea and named him Earl Grey, after a type of tea he was fond of.




And a day or two after the Annunciation, I found Ta-Miu.



Her eyes remind me of the way the ancient Egyptians lined their eyes with kohl, and so I named her Ta-Miu, or little cat in ancient Egyptian. She's aloof and adorably proud, and although she lets me pet her, and does purr sometimes, the expression on her face suggests that she's doing me a favour. It's strangely irresistable.

 This is so adorable it defies words. I can't decide if it's Chatdonnay, Catbernet or Purrlot, though.

I keep reaching out to pet the screen. 

When I first saw this picture I was also worried about the safety of the cat, but there was also a message from the owner; he and his friend had carefully let the "feisty little thing" into the glass, taken a few photos, and quickly helped it out again. And anyway, kittens can crawl into the oddest of spaces and sleep in the oddest of positions, as I myself can attest to.

Loki actually threatened me; apparently if my cat complains to him of being mistreated he will come up with revenge of some sort. I told him that if I ever mistreated a cat, or any animal, he could feel free to take revenge since I obviously wouldn't be in my right mind. I mean, look at those huge eyes and the paws and whiskers and that expression. Who would want to harm something like that?
