... I don't think I can, actually. Most of the food in my kitchen tends to be the sort that needs little or no preparation; bread, biscuits, cereal and so on. I mean, I tried to boil water once and that resulted in an explosion.
[frowns a bit] I suppose I can send you home with a few leftovers, enough to make sure you eat properly for a week or so without the food spoiling. The ham, at least, would make for perfectly good sandwiches even if cold. I swear, Gabriel, I will some day teach you how to cook without property destruction occurring.
