It is exactly the sort of excuse Loki would use, if he meant to say: "I wasn't punctual, because you set the time and I won't let you order me about."

Oh, big-eared cats are definitely cuter! That's what makes kittens, in particular, so irresistable; their ears are so big on their tiny little heads and they look so adorable!

I think the Metatron would attempt to do that to any demon or god/goddess he saw. He just strikes me as that sort. Other times, he strikes me as a misunderstood stressed angel who just needs a hug but can't get one seeing as how he's on fire. Depends on my mood. ;)

I'm closer to the former, but not that extreme. He's a stiff, arrogant and cold angel, but not likely to destroy creatures without any reason. (And I'm of course not thinking of Kunenk's version, just the one in my head.)

Does what work that way? Dying? If I was discorporated I would end up in my true form, back in Heaven, awaiting a new body, so yes, I suppose. If I was stabbed with the dark damned poison blade of a demon, then I'm really not too sure what might happen. Would I cease to exist? I don't particularly want to find out.
