The first one was made by me, hence the odd wings. The vastly superior other two were made by the wonderful stillasoldier .







I am really going to miss you, stillasoldier , (you'll still be around, I know, but I've always admired your creativity and prolific RPing and that's one thing I'll miss) and Gabriel will miss his big brother. We both wish you all the best! You're an awesome friend and talented writer, and I know you'll do wonderfully in your future endeavours!

Oooh, pretty!  I think the problem with the first and third is that the white wings are extremely low contrast, especially on a black background.  The second one pops more because the black and white illustration provides more contrast and the feathers actually stand out instead of becoming a white blur in the background.

Hmm.  If I can find time, I might like to play with this too. :D
